Sustainability Reporting Initiative

It all starts with a shared belief.

Welcome to our Sustainability Reporting Initiative. At Innergex, we want to build a better world with renewable energy.
For over 30 years we have been proving that doing what is right for the planet can also generate long-term, sustainable value and opportunities for our employees, partners, shareholders as well as the communities that host our projects. This shared belief has guided us for the past three decades and will continue to lead us towards a brighter tomorrow.
Our approach to sustainable development is embedded in our DNA. Guided by our core values, we conduct business with a global perspective to effect positive change by not only focusing on what we do, but how we do it.
Innergex’s disclosure efforts are tied to our contributions to addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“UNSDG”). By understanding where we have already been making a positive impact in Environmental, Social and Governance aspects of our business, we will become better equipped to address future opportunities and challenges. Innergex will continue on its path of responsible and sustainable growth and be better equipped to address the challenges that lie ahead.
We believe in building a better world with renewable energy. I invite you to join us on our journey.

We generate solutions for a cleaner future
Hydro Power
Hydroelectricity, created by harnessing energy from running water, generates large amounts of power. Energy is produced from the natural water flow of rivers, assuring large scale and stable energy generation. It is currently the most widely-used source of renewable energy as it has a very long operating life.
Solar Power
Solar energy is the result of the most abundant and unlimited resource there is, the sun. Harnessing electricity from the sun requires no fuel or moving parts, creates no emissions during operations, and requires low maintenance. Solar energy is one of the cleanest renewable forms of energy around.
Wind Power
Wind power is an affordable and plentiful source of energy. Clean, renewable wind energy is an ideal alternative to fossil fuels. Wind turbines produce no atmospheric emissions, no harmful waste nor any other type of air or water pollution.
