Innergex has been busy over the last year working the new vision for the Corporation. Developed in consultation with a multitude of stakeholders including employees, the executive and the Board of Directors, the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan will capitalize on our prior successes and continue on our path of growth.
Innergex will focus on balancing People, Our Planet, and Prosperity as we pursue the following objectives for the years 2020- 2025:
- Grow Responsibly – focus our growth on current markets and target opportunities in neighbouring ones
- Build Expertise – Become an expert in deploying energy storage technologies
- Optimize Operations – Leverage expertise and innovation to maximize returns from our high-quality assets
- Diversify Activities – Increase diversification of the Corporation’s activities and assets
In 2025, Innergex Renewable Energy will have continued our growth as a Canadian incubated, global renewable energy leader. We will have expanded our position in our current markets and maintained diversification of our assets in terms of geography, technology, customers and contract terms. Innergex will have pursued active project development with the aim of becoming an expert in energy storage. Innergex will have achieved targeted acquisitions and explored strategic opportunities to expand our business possibly in energy management and transport where it makes sense, while remaining committed to responsible growth that balances people, our planet and prosperity.
Over the next five years, Innergex will have continued its growth by favoring organic growth combined with strategic acquisitions that create significant value for its current and future shareholders.
By 2025, Innergex will have consolidated our culture and strengthened our systems and procedures to offer an efficient and engaging work environment where people can follow their passion and contribute to building a better world.
Innergex’s policies are designed to guide the Corporation and its employees to ensure compliance in all aspects of its business. These policies ensure the sustainable growth of the Corporation through supporting employees with information-sharing and training, providing transparency with shareholders and the public, and clearly laying out the Corporation’s vision for ethical and acceptable behaviour. The policies are reviewed on an annual basis and updated accordingly.
